Australian impressionist John Russell was strongly influenced by the time he spent in France, most notably by the dramatic landscapes of the French Island of Belle Ile and his friendship with Claude Monet.

Join us for an exploration of France as ‘influencer’ of creativity in Australia with presentations from Kirstie Clements, Damien Pignolet and Sally Jackson as they discuss fashion, food and film over three weeks in July.
