Come along for a fun and interactive way to meet other cultural professionals and creatives. Participate in short bursts of conversation as you move around the tables. After the cultural speed dating activity , Performance artist Mel Ree will perform a 10-minute feature set of poetry curated especially for the night in celebration of culture, creativity and new connections. This is in anticipation of our Australian Poetry Slam Sydney Heat so when you fall in love, don’t fret, there will be a second date.

Mel Ree’s love for performance and words are only surpassed by her exuberance for life. Born to the daughter of a Papua New Guinean warrior chief, she proudly carries her people’s strength, wisdom and ancient craft of storytelling.
