Day tour to Canberra: Matisse and Picasso

18 February 2020 - 18 February 2020 7.45am - 8.30pm
Travel with us to the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra to see the exhibition 'Matisse & Picasso'. Drawn from some 40 important international collections, 'Matisse & Picasso' shows how these two pioneers of Modern Art both shared the need to confront the challenges set by the paintings of Paul Cézanne and mined each other's work to enhance their own. The rivalry between Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso is one of the most important stories of modern art

The day includes morning tea at the Courtyard café in Berrima, exhibition entry and guided tour. There will be time to explore the NGA’s other collections at your leisure. Lunch is not included.
